Hey Tanzfeelein,
That's funny, I love antiques and I've seen some Solingen blades to attach to weapons from the 2nd WW here in Rio's antique fair! lol
Brazil is really famous for Carnival, but the expressions of the Carnival culture varies from region to region, since it's more a continent than a country. In Rio, where I live, Carnival has the main, world known, scene, which is the parade, and also has the street carnival, where small bands play around in almost all neighborhoods with a huge crowd following. Particularly I prefer that kind of carnival, when I spend it in Rio. =)
Let me know if you want to know more. I've been in some other places of Brazil during carnival, and can describe the festivities there as well.
Cheers!
Andre
Hello Andre,
thats sounds very exciting? Yes, of course I like to get more information abut Brazil. In Germany TV we can only see a part of the Carneval in Rio? But all what we can see is, that ladies didn`t wear a lot of clothes.
And we can only see that Brazil have only beautiful Women. Is that really true?
Thanks for your information
Tanzfeelein
Well, the womens really didn't wear a lot of clothes! It must be really hot there! I'm not sure because I live in southern Brazil and the climate is different. It's temperate climate. We are in winter here, and last week was really cold, which many people don't know. The carnival isn't very popular here than in other parts of Brazil.
Oh, and most of the inhabitants of southern Brazil (mainly in Rio Grande do Sul) is of European origin, some of them: Italian and German.
Hum... How to write "Germany" in german? Because in Brazil to write: "Alemanha". O.O It's really different...
