Multi culti (not only) in Germany
What do you think about multicultural society? Is it possible to get different races and nationalities to live together in one homeland without conflicts and problems? Do you have any personal experience?
I myself come from a country where very few immigrants come every year.
I decided to post it here as there are many nationalities living in Germany. Moderators, please don´t move this topic.

Of course it's possible for various nationalities to live together in a country, but not always without conflicts or problems, that would be indeed too nice. And as said before, immigrants must respect the laws of each country which they enter and integrate themselves as much as they can, even if it isn't easy.

I believe it is completely possible. It is everywhere in the United States and we get along just fine. Most of the time....

Dear miss " Pressburg";), I think it's could be possible if the country concerning by multicultural case have a real policy of integration of these people and admit that they could be kept some of theirs cultural heritage in correct way of the neutral european rules about religion for example.
I guess the problem with the integration of muslim people is caused by muslim way of life: Women (often) are not allowed to leave home alone. So it's only necessary for the men to speak the new language. But because the women stay usually at home, the kid cannot learn the new language too because their mother has not learned it. This problem still exists in 3. or 4. generation of immigrants. Maybe we should demand the immigrants to learn a certain level of the new language before we let them in (except of asylum seekers - they usually do not have the time to learn before they have to go).
I think a society could consist of many groups except for one: the ones who do not want to live in a multi-culti society. They destroy every attempt for a peaceful multi-ethnical society.
