I'd rather have a moment of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special.
I went to Salou as well, indeed brilliant, when I was 17. I wouldn't go there anymore.
My best was the time I spent in Venezuela, although I am not quit sure if you can call that a holiday, more like a sabatical.

September, 2009, I travelled to Slovenia, then onto Bosnia-Hercegovina via Zagreb, Croatia. I met a few wonderful people along the way including two members here on Mailfriends.

My best holiday ever was definitely last summer on the Spanish island of Fuerteventura! Long sandy beaches, clear water, pleasant climate =) *dream*
lookinf forward to going there a third time
