I'm a graduate in Modern and Contemporary European History and love all things historical :) My favourite places in the world are London, York and Amsterdam, beautiful cities! I love all kinds of music but my favourite band is the Foo Fighters. I love Scrubs and I'm a bit addicted to Rome at the moment :) I'm a friendly and cheerful person... a hopeless optimist in fact, so dont worry, I wont bite :P

My favourite films are: Heathers, Amelie, Satorare, Versus, Battle Royale, Moulin Rouge, Pirates of the Carribbean (Johnny Depp!), Donnie Darko, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Schindler's List, Der Untergang and pretty much any Tim Burton film. :)

My favourite books are: Anything by Jane Austen, Homer, Anne Rice or Thomas Harris... Battle Royale, Captain Corellis Mandolin, Fight Club, The Diary of Anne Frank, Vanity Fair, The Mayor of Casterbridge, For One More Day, The Aenied

My favourite quote is from my friend Lars: "My advice.. always carry a taser, and when somebody tries to ruin your life.. stun the *beep* out of them!" :D

A couple of people have asked me lately exactly what it is I studied.. so here's a list haha: Modern Europe 1870-1939, The Victorian City, Themes in Modern British History 1890-1960, Contemporary Europe 1939-2000, Continuity and change, Women in 20th Century Britain, Italian Fascism, Germany 1848-1918, Theories of Fascism, Imperial Russia, Rise of the Nazis 1919-1934. I also studied Witchcraft in Europe 1350-1750, Themes in American History, The Reformation: England and Europe 1520-1560, Richard III and Renaissance Italy. Oh and I wrote my dissertation on Nazi Anti-Communism. Woo! Bored yet? :P
