ABOUT ME AND MY PERSONALITY: I work hard, I play just as hard, and I laugh even harder. I'm goodhearted and sympathetic, but I live for satire and irony. I'm liberal and creative, but some days my brain is 'on strike'. I believe that 'perfection' is an illusion, but I believe in doing one's best. LIKES: Bono, the writings of Miguel de Unamuno and Albert Einstein, Bruce Lee's Jeet Kun Do, being completely lost in a new place when I travel, Teaching, learning new things, playing in the snow. Too often, I am just plain lucky, and on those days it is just really good to be me :) DISLIKES: I hate my chin - makes me look like Fred Flintstone. I dislike those 'plastic' people who try so hard to convince everyone else that they are perfect. I dislike George Bush, right-wing racists (or racists from either wing, for that matter), Paris Hilton (rich moron), and brussels sprouts. THIS YEAR'S TO-DO LIST: - continue Aikido and learn some basic Yoga - get back to Europe this summer - see Nepal within the next few years - finish writing my next book - vote against anyone who george bush supports - get back in the gym more before I really begin to resemble Fred Flintstone! |
