I'm perspective. I think I am. I hope I am. It's like being in the middle of nowhere. I want to cry to the world, saying "Hey, China is not like what you think!". At the same time, I want to wake the Chinese, saying "Hey, open your eyes and see the world!" So, I admire Lu Xun, and the whole Chinese intellectual generation in the early 20th century. They conserve a profond foundation of the Chinese culture, while they absorb the treasure of the western minds. They shattered the feudal Confusium to free China from dictature. I'm wondering what they would do if they were in our days. Now we are free and prosperous, but not happy. Something is still missing. We are searching. I am searching.
-------------------------------------- I'm now a students of French language. Of course I can also speak Chinese, both Mandarin and Catonese, and English. Learning language is fun. I guess I'll teach myself more languages later. I like listening to music. Favourite artist as well as idol is Jean-Jacques Goldman. Favourite bands are Keane, Coldplay, The Feeling, The Coral, U2 and so on like them. I'm a fan of pop/rock, not really into rap or metal. My sole favourite rapper is Mike Skinner. I also like watching sports games, including tennis, F1, badminton, table tennis and football sometimes and so on. I can play badminton pretty well, but I'm not very active. |
