More About Me
| I have been called a lot of things in my life, but mostly I get called weird, a real trooper when it comes to space cadets, somebody who will never be bored because the perfect conversation-partner is but a mirror away. Yes, I grant that my logic does not often make sense to others... but it makes sense to me, and if you let me, I'd be glad to explain my logic... although it will not be without an amount of shock and surprise on my part, as I often forget that half of my part of the conversation goes on in my head. Yes, I have a habit of omitting often vital parts of sentences, and thus sometimes my comments can seem horribly random. I am an introverted individual that has learned well extroverted ways. But, at times, I find that people catch me unaware, and at such times my comments range from being apparently irrelevant to boring. Ah!, I love my automatic responses. It's like when you pay no attention to where you walk, but you find yourself home, anways... only with your mouth. Heh. I love Japanese people. I find them to be complex, a delightful mix of modern ways, with a traditional centre. I could die a happy, happy person now that I've been there. It was the best time of my life. I also love writing, and I strongly maintain that babbling is an artform, of which I am a master. I love videogames and I'm a PS girl through and through. Why? Because what it may have apparently lacked when it comes to graphics on the older consoles, it made up with game quality, range and the controllers are not so big as to give you wrist pain when you've been playing it for five days straight. But, I do have a Wii. Gods!, I hate that Wii Sports game. It makes my body hurt. Ha. Listen to rock and metal. Too mellow now to write stuff about that, as with the movies. But yeah. Stuff is cool. |
If I could be an animal ...
I'd be a tanuki. If you don't know what they are, they're an animal native to Japan (Ichiban! I am not worthy! I am not worthy! heh. Adapted Wayne's World reference.), often portrayed as drunkards, and they have large... kintama (I think that's the word). Heh. They look sorta like a raccoon, crossed with a bear... dog... beast-thing. They're rare-ish, I think. And ultimately, awesome.
If I could run a country for a day...
I'd run Swarziland. Or Japan. Swarziland, because of the awesome name, and Japan, well, because as the ULTIMATE GAIJIN (heh) I would delight 'my' people, and go out and make the most of that one day. But, then again, it better be the longest day of the year, or I'll be spewing (angry, if you don't know 'Australian' heh). I want to meditate with monks, try whale meat (don't agree with the hunting of them. Think it's pretty buggered, but I want to see what makes the 'scientific research' so important. Just a note that of the people I met in Japan, only one said that he like 'whale food'. And he was rich... and he could also be considered a 'gangster'. Heh. Meanwhile, he was rather good looking.), and try to get around and meet as many of the people as I can - including going to numerous clubs etc- before writing a summary of all that I have experienced and what the everyday Japanese person thinks about their country.
A good day starts with...
Waking up next to the one you love, followed by PANCAKES and CHAMPAGNE, onwards to playing videogames and watching rugby. Did I mention videogames? Oh, and all the while drinking of course. |
