[ J O U R N A L ] 13.07.2008 - Attended the Rainforest World Music Festival 2008 for the first time. Great music! [ i n t r o ] I'm an 18-year-old Malaysian currently taking Diploma in Graphic Design. I am an avid photographer, I enjoy design, I love sociology philosophy history psychology and all that intellectual schmuzz - not because I consider myself an intellectual, but because I find it interesting how there are so many sides to a coin. I live in the rather quiet city of Kuching, and derive a great deal of inspiration from its olde world charm. Genres I listen to include chillout, avant-garde, oldies, indie and jazz; if you have any recommendations do share - my playlist is increasingly becoming a bore... And as always I enjoy a good conversation; just do not try to flirt because I am hopelessly unromantic. Oh and I read Agatha Christie, nothing else. Well, almost. [ m u s i n g s ] I seriously wish I was 21 in 1971. Then I'd be skulking around the gloomy autumn alleys of Paris, Manhattan and London with my Nikon camera and a thick knitted scarf wound hurriedly around my neck. My long, dark hair shall be tied loosely to one side rather un-hippishly and my pockets filled with crumpled dollar bills instead of LSD pills. Then I'd retire to my room in a brick sideway shoplot and fill up a diary which would be auctioned off in return for good money in 30 years time. Well, that's about it. |
