Hello!
I'm a french who like to talk to people from every country so feel free to contact me, whatever is your nationality. My favourite bands: Nightwish, Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir, Alcest, Within temptation, Motörhead, Deathstars, Apocalyptica, Lordi, In Extremo, Rammstein, In Flames, Edguy, Dragonforce, Therion, Saxon, Corvus Corax, Ozzy Osbourne, Paradise Lost, Wir Sind Helden, Seether, Megadeth, Les Fatals Picards, Flowing Tears, The Cranberries, and many many other things Hobbies: mainly video games (well, it's my job ^^) and play bass My new year's goals: - Find a new job, preferably in Germany, Sweden, Netherlands or Finland ---> DONE! It will be Netherlands :) - Practice paintball - Play in a band - Go to wacken open air---> FAILED! :( - Finish guitar hero 1 and 2 in expert mode - Go to the Game Convention of Leipzig---->FAILED! :( - Meet people from EVERY European country - Buy some clothes! ----> DONE! but too few... 
Some cliché about french people: - No, we don't wear beret - Yes, our cheeses smells, but they're great :) - NO, NO, NO and NO again, French women don't have hairy armpits!!! (we should kill the guy who started this rumor, but i think he's already dead...) - No, French people are not arrogant...at least, as much as in every countries - No, the "French kiss" is not something we use every morning to salute our coworkers, we just use it in love relationship - No, the "Beaujolais nouveau" is not a great French vine. In fact, most of the time it's a piece of crap, but still a good reason to have a party :D If you know another stereotypes that aren't listed here and want to know if it's true or not, leave it in my guestbook and i'll answer it ;) "French people eat frogs!!" I've never ate any frog of my life and i don't know anyone who did. Also, i've never seen frog legs in a restaurant. Of course, yes, frog legs are a "traditionnal" french meal and you still can find it in some very expensive restaurant, but i'm pretty sure that 98% of the french people never ate any. "French men are tall,dark and where white shirts with black stripes?" - Mostly true yes... french men are now all around 1.80m and a big part of the population is dark haired. But well i guess there are lot of countries where we can say the thing. About black and white shirts, yes, it was a fashion something like 2 years ago, but now it's over.
