Hello there, I'm a merry Brit girl from south-east England, pleased to meet you. **Updates** *Phew* I am extremely busy and will be online infrequently between now and late July/early August. Yup, it's all exams, exams, exams for me at the moment. I have my first drum kit now, and it is beautiful! It's a Mapex MBirch and I adore it. :) General Information At the moment, I am at college studying Chemistry, English Literature, English Language, History, Advanced England and German. I am usually rather busy because college takes up 50-55 hours a week in total, but I have always got time to talk. I am very passionate about science and the arts, I'd like to study physics one day, particularly astro-physics because I find Space extremely fascinating, but it's likely I won't study it academically. Linguistically, my favourite language is German, but I am also very fond of the Nordic languages in general, however, my dream is to become fluent in German. I enjoy writing poetry and I find William Blake and Edgar Allan Poe very inspiring, one of my favourite writers is H.P Lovecraft. As well as this, I enjoy plays and my favourite is called 'Doctor Faustus', it really is a dark masterpiece. I play a variety of instruments but I compose mostly on the electric guitar, but prefer to record on keyboard because I enjoy the many different effects. Other Interests I've got many new interests at the moment, probably because it is a new year. I like photography but I do not take pictures myself, and I like philosophy to an extent, however, I do not particularly like any philosophers, I just like the principle of philosophy itself. As I am young, I enjoy travelling because it gives me opportunities to wander around cities freely, but I love nature and the quiet so I like long walks and hikes in rural and natural areas too. As I have said, I love to create things, anything and everything really, it gives me a sense of purpose but also I think it's an indirect way of collecting and expressing perspectives and experiences of life. Hopes For The Future I hope to leave England soon for good, my plan is to move to Germany in two years time and this dream makes my study time worthwhile. I really need a German speaker (native preferably) to aid me in learning and practising the language.
