| Welcome to my profile, and if you have any sense you should run away now... Can't say I didn't warn you. Anyways, I suppose I will start with a few basic facts: I live in western Canada, I have rather eclectic hobbies, and I like hearing from other people. Good conversations make me happy, as do long letters and emails from people who truly like to live life and embrace new and interesting experiences. One thing that has never gotten to me is boredom, as I tend to view it as mostly self-induced and a state of mind that's easy to combat...it also helps that I do like to keep busy. I have a lot of interests and really like to learn about what other people enjoy doing. Foreign language intrigues me greatly, although I must admit that I would prefer correspondence to be in English, as I only know a little Japanese and German. Definitely not enough to write a decently long email. Musically I listen to a lot of different genres, my favorites being: rock, metal, punk, classical, J Rock, and alternative. The only thing I really can't stand is country music...*shudders* I read lots of fiction and non-fiction. Usually you can find me reading speculative, historical, horror, fantasy, and thriller fiction. As well as classics. When it comes to non-fiction I'll read almost anything provided it's well written and interesting. If anyone is interested in finding out more about me, just ask, I certainly don't mind. Also I must make it clear that I am only interested in meeting pen pals for friendship and cultural exchange - nothing more. No online dating whatsoever. |
