More About Me

A while ago I was asked if I am a teacher because my profile would sound so strict. That baffled me! Sure, I have a pretty sober nature and know where I stand. Hey, I am German AND a Capricorn, what do you expect?? :D

I am here because I enjoy writing and exchanging with people from all over the world: crazy, silly people to have fun with, people to have good conversations with, people to be contemplative with and and and, actually most people have an interesting story to tell, some just do not seem to think so.
Broadening my horizon is one of the greatest gifts one can give me; may it be as "simple" as a good song I haven't heard before. I enjoy different point of views and the way other people see the world. However, it is hard for me to deal with hypocrites who cannot back up their opinions (drives me nuts, actually) and I strongly believe that life is too short to be bothered to talk to fanatics who refuse to hear a different opinion in the first place.

If I had to name some of my character traits, I would say: straight-forward, curious (very), patient (most of the times), reflective, stubborn, playful, and also egocentric in a certain way.
My friends say I am crazy ..and they are right
I find myself strangely attracted to eccentric people, which does not mean that I do not want to get to know you unless you never leave the house without your purple, cow-shaped backpack or listen to Marilyn Manson for going to sleep.
I prefer to go through life with a twinkle in my eye, whenever life lets me.

My biggest obsession next to writing is music and endurance sports. I don’t like watching TV however a good movie or documentary on DVD is always welcome.

Maybe, I even leave the teacher gagged in the closet with all the other skeletons. ;)

Ah, one more thing: I generally do not add “friends”, I think two people certainly can be friends without the “MF stamp of approval”. I do not need a list either to remind me who is a friend of mine.
