I feel like, in my case, that writing is essential for friendship. I have my own reason: I prefer begin alone doing my own thing, and always hanging out with people is not my nature.
Being selective when it come to people, it is quite painful for me to be with someone I have no interest in. So I often avoid someone who always wants to be with someone else and invite whoever people he can find. Oh leave me alone, I know I am not that important for you... However that doesn't mean I don't want friends. Deep inside, I have a strong desire to have true friends. I want someone whom I care and who cares me. Someone who is independent enough to stand his/her own, and interesting enough to have something to discuss. And, essentially, someone who can stay friends even we don't see each other longtime. Thus, writing letters. These are a few of my favorite things…
Books: Peter Pan by J.M.Barrie - my all time favorite. Music: I listen to quite wide range of music, all over the world from India to France. but if I should pick, that would be good old Irish music. Actually, I often sing those tunes when I walk along the streets. My favorites are: She Moved Through the Fair, Raglan Road, Foggy Dew (yes, I am Japanese…), Will ye go, lassie go, Molly Malone etc. Improv: fun, fun, fun! I really like it. One of the most amusing thing I have ever done. The sky, mountains, rain, lightning and other natural phenomenon; it's amazing how nature can produce those wonderful moments. There moments are often when I feel happiest. |
If I could fly...
I would fly, of course! In fact, flying is my dearest dream. I often see the sky and couldn't help wondering what is like to be flying. It must be really wonderful. In my dreams, I can fly. As soon as I am in my world of dream, I know I can. And, interestingly, more I dream, better I fly. It a tough business. You gotta be skillful. If I could fly in THIS world, it is going to be my favorite way of traveling. If would fly over cities, rivers, and mountains. I still walk, taking trains, plains etc. But, O, how nice if I could fly! |
