A heart felt hello to all who pass this way.
What to say? Hmm. Well, I am a qualified high-school teacher who has finally returned home after teaching in a very small and isolated community in northern Ontario, Canada.
Like many people, I'm into movies(anything but romantic comedies or Disney), reading(mostly non-fiction but still love a good horror read and Douglas Adams). I love almost all music, though I'm not too wild about hip-hop or "new country". Favourites would be; Neil Young, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, Kraftwerk, The Smiths, Hank Williams Sr, Motorhead, Joni Mitchell, Rush, Neulander, The Police, Rage Against The Machine, Nina Hagen, Black Sabbath, Bob Marley, Alice In Chains, Camera Obscura, etc, etc, etc. I also very much enjoy travelling. I have been very fortunate to have done quite a bit of travelling. Truly one of life's great experiences.
Perhaps my greatest enjoyment is derived from conversation. I love to talk, but also love hearing what others have to say. After all, if there's only one speaking, it's not a conversation. Doesn't mean I will always agree, and will say so(if I feel suitably comfortable with them, or sufficiently put off by what they've said). Yes, I am opinionated, but I am also open-minded. I am pretty much of the mind that people can do whatever they wish, so long as they do not harm another. I don't care about race, gender or sexual orientation. I'm not religious but am still trying to determine if I am in any way a spritualist. The jury is still out.
Well I suppose that's it for now. I don't want to ramble on about myself for too long.

everyones right, but sadly, most governments view it as an expense rather than an investment.
If I could run a country for a day...
I would immediately announce a national holiday.

Everyone dear to me would benefit, and I would never again get up early in the morning unless I felt like it. |
