Hey everyone.....let's see here......ummm......Derek.....what can i say about Derek????......i use music, movies and video games to escape this world.....works well....until you turn off the machine...lol.....i'm probably one of the most spiritual people you'll ever meet.....i think existence is a beautiful thing.....when i say i love someone....i mean i that i love them on a whole other level.....i've recently started reading books by a world reknown psychic named Sylvia Browne....maybe some of you have heard of her......i like to think of myself as a philosopher....i'm always thinking...............i love dark art.....artists like H.R. Giger, Wayne Barlowe, Zdzislaw Beksinski.......Alex Grey is a phenomenal artist, but he doesn't do dark art.....his work revolves around metaphysics......i highly recommend you check out those artists.....if you even like art.....lol.....the rain....ohhh the rain....purity falling from the sky...i love it......my ultimate fantasy is finding the girl of my dreams and we run away together to costa rica and spend the rest of our lives in the rainforest....bathing under a waterfall......at one with nature....now that's a life worth living.
T.V. shows: I love The Daily Show and The Colbert Report and CORNER GAS the best damn show ever...its' canadian Music: front line assembly, tool,ministry, a perfect circle, ozzy, iron maiden, delerium, nightwish, H.I.M., rammstein, massive attack, tricky, underworld, smashing pumpkins, marilyn manson, godsmack, kmfdm, eminem(the first two records), darude, the offspring, yanni, nine inch nails, collide, ramones, matthew good, rob dougan, neverending white lights, enigma, pantera, metallica(the old stuff....the new stuff is shiaaat!), deftones(even though i dont' know what the hell they're saying), eiffel 65, atc, AND I LOVE TRANCE AND EUPHORIC DANCE MUSIC SO MUCH!!!!! movies:powder, point break, jacob's ladder, minority report, fight club, saving private ryan, platoon, bowling for columbine, fahrenheit 9/11, 2001 a space odyssey, a clockwork orange, full metal jacket, reservoir dogs, bully, cube, blood in blood out, signs, unbreakable, the village, pirates of the caribean, the river wild, shrek 2, what about bob, interview with the vampire, the matrix trilogy, black hawk down, sin city, cast away, phonebooth, sleepy hollow, quills, goodfellas, dead presidents, cape fear, hostage, the ninth gate, final fantasy: the spirits within, the passion of the christ, the truman show, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, dead poets society, what dreams may come,apt pupil, american history x, the cell, one flew over the cuckoo's nest, heavy metal, and the ring. I'll try to write a poem....hope you guys like it. HARDWIRED They all say i'm insane my mom, my dad and even that fat fuck with the great dane but, no one can even start to understand the reason why i'm only a teen, but soon to be a man This night is so understanding this ocean before me is overly demanding but I stand and smile at the sky for my reasons for being are going to be unmasking I take off my clothes and walk into the water at first it's cold, but slowly gets hotter I fall back and the wires catch me and bring me up towards the sky of the swirling fire I feel weightless as the wires move me through the air the sense of euphoria is almost too much to bear now face to face with the fire I can feel the hot and beckoning stare Suddenly, my brain feels like it's exploding in my head now I wish I was in the comfort of my bed the voice of the fire is so overwhelming as it fills my mind with the knowledge of the long dead With a loud snap, the fire disappears leaving a horrible ringing in my ears the wires slowly lower me back into the water I feel like I was up there for hundreds of years Now I walk to shore feeling like a tower for I have met the lord of of unspeakable power putting my clothes back on, I smile at the sky for I have just experienced my greatest hour.
