ABOUT ME AND MY PERSONALITY: I'm liberal and creative, but some days my brain is 'on strike'. I believe that 'perfection' is an illusion and a hindrance, and that life is far too short. I work hard, I play just as hard, and I laugh even harder. I'm goodhearted, sympathetic, and loyal to my friends. I live for justice and love irony. LIKES: I like: Motown music, an occasional taste of whiskey or sangria with friends, aikido and working out, animals, learning new things, and writing. Too often, I am just plain lucky, and on those days it is just really good to be me :) DISLIKES: I'm not crazy about my appearance, but that's how it is. I dislike superficial people, George Bush, most other politicians and religious leaders, right-wing racists (or racists from either wing, for that matter), and radishes. PROGRESS ON THIS YEAR'S TO-DO LIST: - learn to cook something other than spaghetti - No Progress :( - see Barcelona this summer - ACCOMPLISHED! - see Nepal within the next few years - Being planned :) - finish writing my next book - In progress, need about 4 months. - visit my old school in Switzerland with my daughter - get back in the gym before I begin to resemble the Pillsbury Doughboy! - ACCOMPLISHED and in progress :) |
