Hi there! My name is Abby, I am 23 yrs old from Manila, Philippines.
I am a Database Developer by profession but my passion deals more than that. I love to read books and for me the best book that ever changed me was the book written by Rick Warren entitled Purpose Driven Life. Most of the time when I am not busy, I love to write poems and I even have an online journal whenever I feel like writing something important in my life. I value my family and friends and I appreciate people who treat me well. I don't discriminate because I am open to meet new friends for all diversity of life. Most of the time they say I am a snob but in fact I am not. I am shy at times and it takes me some adjustments to adapt to a new crowd. I do think I am sweet, thoughtful, friendly and encouraging. I think I just rather listen more than to speak right away without making sense at all. Most of the time I am very homebody and family oriented. At such a young age, I think I am more mature than those Filipinos of my age. I enjoy going out with closed friends and I must say that I don’t easily trust someone, but once I trust someone, I am giving everything. I love nature hiking and doing some volunteering coz I think that is what having a meaningful life all is about. I am also God-fearing and I could not think any less of more important other than that. I love my job but I am not the type who'd like to spend a lot of time in front of the computer on my spare time. There is nothing extraordinary but I know that I have a very colorful life story. I am naturally shy and snob but I can overcome that at work and to the people i like and love. I enjoyed simple things in life.I love to cook for the people I love, but don't be surprised if I ate a lot.I love to eat and I am not even scared to get fat, I am even more afraid to starve =) yet, im thankful that I have a very fast metabolism. To me the best past time is letting the hours past by having a good conversation with someone. I like to talk about life. I grow up in a loving home and my family is very important to me. I have high respect for elders and education as what my parents have taught me. I am naturally a homebody but I go out with friends and I love to be surrounded by people I love. I feel love whenever someone will do special things for me.Quality time is my love language. As of love, i believe in 1 COR 13:4-7. "Love is patient, love is kind.It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." I will soon go to Kuala Lumpur for my next job. If I could be invisible...
I will make use of the moment to make up for all my losses. That is, seized the moment to be able to make other people feel that they are important human beings in this world. Just like the wind, I let myself be blown far and away to reach out for others whom once I was not able to talk to, to ask for forgiveness, to make them feel how sorry I am and to touched their hearts once again.
