I am a student from the Netherlands.I study Mechanical Engineering at Twente University. I am very interested in other cultures and people from all over the world and I love travelling. I speak Dutch, English and German and a few words Spanish. I am interested in many things, but I don't have any well-defined hobbies.This is probably enough for a start ,right? If not, ask me ... I am here at Mailfriends.com for several years now .I thought about quitting, but from time to time I still get in touch with nice people, so I'll probably hang around for several years? Some music that I like: Red Hot Chillipeppers, U2, Blur, UB40 , Greenday and many more... I also read a book from time to time, studybooks that is, and some times a thriller (ofcourse the Dan Brown novels).I am a fan of martial arts (practised jiu-jitsu and taekwondo for a couple of years)
-------Latest news-------- 15-09-2007 This year I have graduated from university (MSc Mechanical Engineering) and I have started working at a company here in the Netherlands as an engineer. In June and July I visited Spain(again) and Turkey! That was really great! By now, I really could use some holidays again though.. Still looking for interesting penpals, so please write me! -------Latest news-------- 31-01-2006 I have been in Shanghai , China, for more then a week now and it's quite a busy city. The traffic is really chaotic, but there is an excellent metro system. I'm starting to find my way around now, even though I speak only 3 words Mandarin. Maybe I should put some effort in learning more? -------Latest news-------- 31-06-2006 Back in the Netherlands Actually a bit boring here after living in Shanghai for several months. I guess I am getting addicted to travelling: First Australia,after that South-Africa and China and now good-old Netherlands... But it's time I finish my study...
