My only rule is the "Golden Rule".

Everything is either a trip or a challenge. It would be nice to share the trips with others who have nothing to lose... but Life. A Life that has no intrinsic Meaning... that's but part of the Big Journey... with different Routes and Ways to Travel...

Intrigue & Curiosity drives me to seek and experience the infinity of Trips Life has to offer. From the high seas under sail, to geting out of bed. There's hardly a Journey that doesn't interest me in some way - arts, sciences, literature, the humanities, nature, travel, exploration. I love heat, I love cold... the sea & all things nautical... mountains, gentle & sheer... fields & houses... town & country... horses & bikes...

Music's a definite passion - from Novelle Vague to ABBA! Equally at home jigging in the kitchen to loosing feet on the floor. And making music is important to... whether banging on tin-can, or strumming them strings.

Not afraid of burning all the colours of the rainbow - from the dizzying reds of passion and joy to deepest indigo of apathy and sadness. The Day is there to be seized and the Adventure Trip squeezed out of it. And the Night is there to re-juvenate for the Aventures of the next Day.

I love exploring new ideas, lively debate and challenging the way I see things. And equally find a place for solitude, silence and recollection.

Reading & Writing are also passions... sharing the sweet pains of Creations of dubious quality is like few others.

And when the Lap gets too hot, there will always be dancing(ballroom, jive, ceroc, salsa, disco), rockclimbing, paragliding, cycling, sailing, tennis, and other weird kinds of stuff like that... beckoning...

Zhuangzi related a story of 3 friends - "Who can live together and help each other without any special effort to live together and help each other..."... the moral being that True Friendship cannot be forced or faked. It's there, or it isn't.

Presuming that You too are unique, and that adopting certain styles so that You can be recognized as some type... will actually have the opposite effect... I leave it to You to try and perceive my essential nature. As I shall try to, Yours.

We all learn early on to wear Masks! And yet, we all desire to be our True Selves... at least sometimes. The Good, the Bad, the Ugly and the downright Insane!

To be able to show that we are strong and radiant, as well as weak and vulnerable. To be able to laugh like Dr. Evil... and to also cry like a baby. To feel that we are understood and not alone. To know that there are others like us... and that we're important to someone who doesn't owe or need us.

Throw in some Kindness, Adventure, a Dream to make the World more Fun (if not Better)... A Day Dream (or two), random thoughts about the multiverse, some artsy fartsy tales...

Then perhaps we may share a little in common !?

And who knows !?
