| Whoah! When did I get so old?? I joined mailfriends years ago and haven't changed my profile since, so I thought it was due an update. I've only just realised how spectacularly old I am these days though! Doh!! :-) As you can see I have the world's most glamourous job. It really is a fascinating life I lead. Haha. I travel all over the country visiting our customers and teaching them how to use our software. I reckon that if I could add up all the time, I'd find that I'd spent about 7 out of the last eight years sat on trains. Anyone who has experienced the joys of the british rail network will know how much fun that must have been. When I'm not sat on trains I learn german and play one of my instruments. Not at the same time of course, that would require a level of skill that is sadly lacking in me. I have a few guitars, a ukelele and (my current favourite) a banjo. As you can tell my neighbours must love me. I'm not very good at playing any of these instruments, but its nice to mess about with them from time to time. I have been in bands in my younger days and managed to survive the stage without being abused too much, so maybe my guitar playing isn't that bad. :-) Oh, I have a harmonica too but I'm especially poor at that so it doesn't count. Given that I'm learning german, if anyone would like to be entertained with my comedy attempts at writing the language from time to time it'd be great to hear from you. Best not bother though if you're likely to be offended by my butchery of the language. I don't really do photos of myself so I'll leave the old one up. Just squint a bit when you look at it and imagine something like that but only with a few more wrinkles and grey hairs. That'll give you the general impression. Ha. As I said earlier on, I travel about a bit with work, so if you are fool enough to leave me any messages it might take me a little while to get back to you. I will do though...eventually. I'm not a total ignoramous. :-) go steady. |
