Hello friends of the world! I am a 25 year old girl in the United States who has enjoyed corresponding with people all over the world for many years now. Many of these friends have come and gone, but I am hoping to develop lifelong friends for good, so I hope that you are a person who is looking for the same thing as I am!
I enjoy writing stories, poetry, plays, taking photographs, acting, reading, collecting comics, visiting museums, trying new foods and cooking, learning languages, exploring different cultures, traditions and religions, enjoying foreign films, obsessing about Harry Potter and many other things of this sort. I have studied French since I was thirteen, but I am in no way fluent. Actually, I had serious studies when I was thirteen and fourteen but then moved to a school that didn't offer French, so I tried to keep up on my own, but failed slightly. Recently I have tried to pick it up again. But I would like to make friends with someone in France or some other French-speaking place who will put up with my awful attempts at French. I would very much like to try writing at least sometimes in this language in order to practice it. :) I am of mostly German heritage, and so my interest in Germany is also great. I am hoping to start taking a German class soon, and would love to have German friends as well. Again, friends who would be willing to put up with horrendous German bits from me after I have learned a good deal of it would be wonderful. :) Lastly, I LOVE Broadway and would really like to have a penpal from New York city, especially one who is into theater like I am. Maybe you are even an actor or actress! That would be wonderful! Still, I would love to hear from anyone around the world as long as you are an interesting and dedicated penpal who will write a few pages to me at a time. The best thing ever happend to me...
I met my personal hero, Anthony Rapp. I was so nervous and excited and I felt like my heart was going to explode. He was the sweetest, most casual person ever and I am even more in love with him now. He is inspirational and lovely.
If I could be invisible...
I'd totally sneak onto planes and go traveling the world. I would love to visit so many places but I haven't the money to do it!
My problem is...
I'm pretty introverted and quiet. I think that turns people off somewhat and they don't quite understand me. But for those few who have gotten to know me, I think they are happy that they did! I don't mean that to sound like I'm self-centered or something, just that I think I'm more exciting and interesting than people might think. |
