| Hey all! Just a quick update for those still in touch.... I met an amazing woman here back in 2005, at that time we were just friends. Since then, things have changed a little...we're getting married!! Just thought I would share that with you all! Age isn''t an issue, its a number! I'm an individual whose tastes run from one extreme to the other. I do my very best to keep an open mind and be as well rounded a person as I can. I believe that there is much more to life than going to work and coming home..repeat same.. that is, there is so much out there in the world to take in, to see, to be a part of. One of the reasons I am on this site is to meet new and interesting people with different points of view, different ways of life, religion, beliefs, and ideals. We are not all the same, and we cannot all be classified as "This" or "That" type of person. Each and every one of us is unique and has something special and something wonderful to give. I find it amazing the differences in our lives, countries, dreams, and desires, and I am often humbled by these contrasts! I believe we should all have more understanding and respect for other cultures and people. I believe in looking far beyond my front door, and taking full advantage of each moment. A very close friend of mine, now since passed on, once said to me: "What would you do Daniel, if this was your last day here?" In memory of her, I try to show her each and every day...just something to think about... Well, you can see me in the pic, for the other details, ask away. Heres some hints to start, photography...(which I'm seriously pursuing!) archery, piano, languages, travel, walking under the Northern Lights, music like Enya, Amethystium, Delerium, Enigma, Lunascape, Evanescence, Alannah Myles, Bryan Adams, to name a few all fall into my 'likes' category. Movies, some favourites including...Pirates of the Caribbean, Moulin Rouge, Escape From New York, Kate and Leopold,any of the Harry Potter series. T.V...Ghost Whisperer, Invader Zim and Kim Possible...(that show rocks! Yeah I know I'm way past the recommended viewing age, but hey, its a blast, besides you can't put an age on comedy!) Great conversation, red wine, ... red wine with great conversation ;-) Good friends, and cruising in a classic Mustang also go into that category. Anyone read Antoine De Saint-Exupery's book "The Little Prince"? What an amazing insight on life! (If you read between the lines...) Any Togakure ryu Taijutsu practitioners out there? So, tell me, whats going on in your world? |
