As of now(7/17/05) I'm finishing up my time at Parkland College, a two year college, and next month will begin my Junior year at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I'm very excited. I'm a computer science major with a minor in linguistics. I love language. For a while I studied Japanese at college and French in high school. I've also studied Thai, Chinese, and Korean. When I have the time, I'll pick up more (or maybe work on actually becoming fluent in one of those langauges)! :D But right now there are too many things to study and I'm booked for the next 6 years or so. :P After college I would like to work abroad and see the world. Two summers ago(2003) I went to Thailand and had the most amazing time ever. My picture shows me in some traditional thai lounging pants. Aside from languages, I also like reading, an interest of mine that has increased because I work in a library. I also enjoy making computer graphics or programming on my computer and, in general, just hanging out. |
