Life is taking a twist once again!
I just found the cutest little apartment .. and i'm busy playing housewife .. you know ... fix the kitchen.. get the tech toys in place ... (that would be a playstation 2 and a big ass TV) .... the sense of satisfaction one gets after hooking up a surround sound system and hearing it purr for the first time truly can't be beaten by anything else i think ..... ummm .... and thats the update. _________________ It's strange but I don't like writing about myself. And i'm supposedly a writer. ha! Ok maybe i'll just ramble a bit and let you peek into my head. ---- Don't know why, but it seems so strange to try and explain who I think I am in words. Personally i think a lot of people make up their minds the instant they see my photo. Or probably when they first hear the twang of that American accent I carry around from 16 years of bouncing around the world but somehow managing to stay in the American/international schooling system. ---- Some people don't like being stereotyped. (* which probably explains why there are so many people on mailfriends that look like pokemon, dragons, artistic illustrations and even the occasional green field. Some people prefer to be known by their words.*) But then what are we all doing here? ---- Somehow it's easier to make friends online, wouldn't you say? Probably because it's so risk free. You can bail on a new friend, choose not to tell the truth, be there and take what you need without worrying about giving back. hold on, don't people do that in the real world too? Hmmm ... I still haven't made up my mind about the real world vs. online world. I guess i'm not so facinated by the prospect of meeting people from all over the world because i'ev lived all over the world. Somalia, Germany, Lebanon, Greece, India, Ivory Coast, France and Bulgaria to name a few. And when i say 'lived' i mean at least 3 years in each place. Thats a bloody long time. But then what am i doing here? ---- After a long time I'm in love, and it's a beautiful feeling. I think it makes me a more fun loving, witty, sensitive and caring person. (*barf*). Well it's definately made me more soppy. Ha! |
