What is the best way to keep friends and your self up to date with your life?

what methods do you use to keep track of your life over time, for yourself and for your friends?

what is best? pen and paper, journal, or scrapbook, certain site?.. some routine, other ways?

How to organise all those details and information that is growing everyday, so you can remember the important marker events and times clearly?

Do you keep your journal for your self to read, and your journal for your friends to read, separate?

If you had the opportunity to put on your mom or dad's shoes, what would you have done differently in their lives?

My mom - I would have been more outgoing, not afraid of everything unknown and not believing if you think of the negative the positive will happen.

My dad - not coddled my mom and protected her so much. She relied on him constantly and is now totally helpless since his passing.

So, being a member of a site called facebook, I have caught up with loads and loads of old school friends, and have been seeing a few also.
Now someone has arranged a reunion for all of us from this year in school.
I would love to see about half of the people who are going, but the rest I really would rather never see again in my life.....and some just bring back really bad memories.
So, should I go to the reunion and be all friendly with people who I dislike....or hide away with the people I do like? Or should I not go at all and just continue to meet up privately with the people I was really good friends with as I am already doing?

Have you or would you offer your home to one of your mf friends to spend a vacation to your country? Would you take them up on their offer if it was given to you?

I think it would be an excellent way to travel, see your friends and the world, for a fraction of the cost.

Wedding Gift List - Your Opinions Wanted...

Hiya all! My partner and I are just starting to plan our upcoming wedding and we've had a conversation about wedding gifts which has left me a little torn so i'd appreciate your opinion on my partner's suggestion. We don't need any gifts, we have a tiny apartment and just wont have space for 20 new photo frames and 30 new vases and the other things that inevitably seem to become the standard wedding gift of choice. We wont be registering a gift list for our guests to buy from for this same reason. I personally really don't feel comfortable with the idea of asking for a 'contribution towards our future' (money!) which seems to be becoming ever more popular.
