Norman Rockwell

Are there any mailfriends who are Norman Rockwell fans?
I love the detail and the humor in some of his works, whenever I see one that is available I buy it.(not the original of course) There is something nostalgic about his work.

Your thoughts?

A Little anouncement to make about this channel - PLEASE READ

Some of you might think this is the religion channel in which you can plant religious posts and make discussions of it... it's not. Here you post about art, literature and other kinds of artsy fartsy stuff. Like paintings, sculpture, the new book of Who cares which writer.

From now on every religious discussion will either be deleted or moved to the religion channel. The ones who ignore this announcement and keep posting crap that doesn't belong here, will get a warning and after 3 warnings you might get a ban.

Complain to webmasters or whatever, it doesn't help. Most might agree with me that there's too little about arts and too many poems about God saves All.

Humurous Quotes

It is always a great thing to read things that make us laugh, I am a firm believer in Laughter is the best medicine. I have a friend that constantly makes me laugh! I always feel good, after conversing with that friend. So I thought it would be great to have a topic, where when we read some of the quotes, we can get a smile instead of a frown. Remember a frown is just a smile, turned upsidedown!

I will start with the first quote:

Marriage is a great institution, but I'm not ready for an institution yet. Mae West

Libraries, a long forgotten love

Will libraries become a long forgotten love with the internet replacing a walk threw?
Every piece of information is now within our finger tips. Will libraries become obsolete?
Will it now take on the name of Literary Archives?

Life Ship

The Birthday party is over
It was the end of lonely candle
No luck to be again together
My heart is very weak to handle

Alone, over my long journey
No mate to share my age trip
I wish there's power of Attorney
To spend my life in a Ship

Suffered much of chatty people
Who colored world in lies
After the party I cut the cable
I wish brain will get wise

(BenAzouz)

One more thing you have to believe
With your love I feel I'm safe
I can sail in a fretful wave
To join you in a far love cave

Yes, I'm yours, to love you alone
Be for me forever love tune
Be my song to wake up dawn
Be myself to share my noon

I will wait with hope, to see you
And pray, for love to grow
You feel me.. surely, I know
Come back here I will not go

Love2Die

Forgive you, No. Forget you, yes.
Leave me alone, keep me away.
Hopeless to care, easy to rase,
Aware of the shocks of everyday.

More than enough, only to say.
Nothing at all, for you to do.
Is it a game, joke, or play,
To let me come, then let me go.

Who else, did you enjoy, to call?
Why did you use, to live, in a lie?
How did you see me, as a ball?
Forgive you NO, love has to die.

(BenAzouz)
