Moroccan dishes

I have a question about names for two things:

1. a dessert made of fruits: something like a fruit pudding mixed with friesh fruits. Is it called Zaza??

2. A big cake, around 2 cms thick, made of probably some kind of groats, mabe semolina. It is often sold on the street.

Thanks in advance for the answer

Children wanting to turn vegetarian

My 9 year old daughter wants to turn vegetarian after watching 'Kill it, skin it, wear it' program on TV

I am already a veggy since i was 13 .... so i cant force her to eat meat/fish cos i dont.

Would u let them try the veggy eating lifestyle? especially knowing that as a child u also chose this way of eating and are still healthy.

Cos i have told her that if she wants to be veggy then she has to eat the things i eat (she is pretty good with veg anyhow)

You cant force a child to eat things they really dont want to eat but i also wonder how long she will keep this up (she loves her chicken lol)

Eat Kangaroo!

Snacking on Skippy would significantly cut greenhouse gases and could help save the planet, researchers claim.

Experts say eating more Kangaroo would lead to a reduction in the cattle and sheep populations, which are responsible for 60 per cent of global methane emissions.

Kangaroos emit one-third as much methane as ruminant animals, such as cattle, sheep and goats.

The experts predict that in Australia alone and increasing the kangaroo numbers to 175 million by 2020 would cut greenhouse gas emissions by 16 megatonnes.

This does not apply to me so much, as I am a vegetarian, but I can see the reasoning.

Went to the market today to get freshly made sausages for the bbq. I can't believe the types to choose from. What are your favourites?
I had bought mine, Macedonian and Hot Italian. The best slowly cooked over an open fire, camping...
