Lordi could be kinda cheesy, but now this is pure metal

Hi! I am Giovanni from Italy.. I am not very much into music, but I noted that the best metal bands are Finnish...(Nightwish, Him, etc) why? My brother told me that since in Finland the winter is very long and boring, many peoples spent lot of time inside the home playing instruments.. is it true?

Hi, I'm a UK based producer/director of short 20 min. doc films. We focus on European 'local hero' type stories on passionate characters whose work inspires and benefits the community, society or the environment. We've only made one story so far in Finland, so would love to find a unique person, male or female, who is doing something cool or inspirational. Positive, heartwarming, heroic... all welcome. I just thought to make a new topic. So, here you may ask questions about visiting in Finland and we Finns (or foreigners stayed/staying in Finland) can give you reasons and examples.

1.Where else could you swim in thousands of clear-watered lakes and rivers without fear of beasts (alligators, sharks etc.)? That's why to visit in Finland.

Maybe this sound a little stupid, but I'm looking for a girl I met in Helsinki last weekend. I went to a club called Teateri, and at the end of the evening I met two girl outside my hotel. I was just smoking a cigarette outside my hotel, the Scandic Marski Hotel. They came over to my room, and we talked and drinked for a few hours. But I totally forgot to give my phone number or something. I don't know how her name is spelled, but it sounded like Jane (like Tarzan and Jane). She was 19 years old, and half Finnish, half Spanish. She had a piercing in her Belly-Button.
She was together with another girl, with blond hair, and also 19-years old. She had a piercing through her eye brow.
