Hey guys, havent had much luck getting a mailfriend to become good friends with before my hol next month so what better way than just to arrive over there and have fun! I met an Aussie guy at a Biodiversity talk this week, he was telling me I should def visit Fed Square and Yarra River!! any other places of interest folks?

I was also listening to morning television here about Voting in Australia and understand the government there are gonna fine people who dont use their vote $10!!! is that true. The Poms cannot believe this...Its very likely our general election is going to end up a 'hung parliament'...Im gonna be in Aus when it happens, so what should I do to cast my vote while Im in Aus?

Bet u any money you like the killer is not a white australian..This poor kid was knee-high to a grass-hopper and would not and could not hurt a fly.This is becoming ä too "common occurrence"here remember late last year a 15 yr old was stabbed to death at another Brisbane school by a "new australian"..These stories are tragic in so many ways what has Australia become...The kid who did the stabbing was only 13 and an ex-student (expelled)

""Apparently " according to some vile comments here in mailfriends Australians dont go to Anzac Cove to pay homage and respects to our heroes/ ANZACS who were annihilated there.
I find it disgusting that some Turkish members here like to associate going to find sex our main aim of traveling to turkey on the 25th April the anniversary of the Gallipoli landing, for a special dawn service... ANZAC Day is the most important national day of commemoration for us Australians.. and their arrogance and ignorance to this should not go unnoticed..

I have recently found out I am now a newly qualified teacher. Im planning to visit Melbourne too in April, I have applied to teach in Oz...looking excitedly at that prospect. Any teachers out there...care to update me on the current situation in the teaching profession down under?
