Documentary Film Characters Wanted

Hi, I'm a UK based producer/director of short 20 min. doc films. We focus on European 'local hero' type stories on passionate characters whose work inspires and benefits the community, society or the environment. We've only made one story so far in Sweden, so would love to find a unique person, male or female, who is doing something cool or inspirational. Positive, heartwarming, heroic... all welcome. They had this thing on the travel channel where this guy built this huge sculpture made of pieces of wood on the beach.. he named his own country and said they were at war with Sweden. The Govt wants him to take it down.

I want to climb in it! do you know what I am talking about?

I laughed reading the last part, though. As far as I know, Americans hug all sorts of "vague" acquaintances at parties (well, at least when aided by alcohol). Who in the hell does these surveys? And did the Swedes asked not think these people were freaks for asking these questions?
